We have some groundbreaking news! Cultural Care Kids First Foundation is excited to share that we joined in the groundbreaking celebration at the Montclair site in South Africa—initiating the construction of the Molo Mhlaba school! This milestone took place on Saturday, April 27th, 2023, coinciding with Freedom Day, which commemorates the historic post-apartheid democratic election held in 1994. Freedom Day continues to inspire those who are still seeking freedom and democracy to this day.
During the event, Cultural Care Au Pair’s staff member, Meghan Africa, had the privilege of attending and delivering a speech on behalf of Kids First. We've pledged $50,000 to bring this school to life, with $25,000 contributed by generous donations from our community. Cultural Care Au Pair will then match the remaining $25,000. We're happy to announce that we’re already nearly halfway to our target, with $12,000 in donations received! With this ongoing support from Kids First, Molo Mhlaba is able to continue building this school and making a lasting impact on the lives of children. It's truly amazing to see the tangible progress we're making in bringing STEM education to young girls. We invite you to contribute by making a donation!
